1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using GameTrakt, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You are responsible for the security of your account and any activity under it.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your email address current.
• You may not impersonate another person or organization.
• You may not create accounts for abuse, spam, automation abuse, or evasion of enforcement.

3. Service description

GameTrakt provides game tracking tools including libraries, ratings, reviews, lists, session logging, activity feeds, and social features. Some features depend on third-party providers (for example metadata, artwork, or platform integrations) and may change, degrade, or become unavailable.

4. User content and licenses

You retain ownership of content you create on GameTrakt (such as reviews, comments, list notes, and profile text). You grant GameTrakt a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, format, and distribute that content solely for operating and improving the service.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate the rights of others, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use GameTrakt for harassment, hate speech, threats, or illegal activity.
• Post malware, phishing links, malicious scripts, or deceptive content.
• Scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the platform in ways that harm service stability.
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, infrastructure, or non-public data.
• Abuse APIs, import features, automation, or rate-limited flows.

6. Moderation and enforcement

We may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when we reasonably believe there is abuse, policy violations, or risk to the platform, other users, or legal compliance.

7. Third-party services and data providers

GameTrakt uses third-party services (such as authentication, game metadata providers, and other integrations). We do not control those services and are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or data inaccuracies originating from them.

8. Availability and changes

GameTrakt is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including beta features and integrations.

9. Account termination and data handling

You may stop using the service at any time. You may request account deletion and data removal subject to our retention obligations, security requirements, and legal compliance. Some records may remain in backups for a limited period.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GameTrakt disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date and may also be communicated in product or by email when appropriate.
